Having Sara in my corner as a running coach has been a game changer. Prior to working with her, I was an average runner, loosely following a training plan I made myself, and not really holding myself accountable to it.
In the few months she has been my coach, I have not only learned so much, but I become more confident in my running! It is so helpful to have Sara there to hold me accountable, cheer me on, listen to my running fears, worries, and everything in between. I'm so excited to head into the new year with big goals and her by my side every step of the way toward them

She goes above and beyond as a coach and genuinely cares about your goals and strengths, and encourages you to show up as your best self while also working with your schedule. The workouts are detailed and helpful. I feel much more motivated to run with a coaching plan than I would on my own, and it's specific to your goals and paces. I really can't recommend Sara and the Elevate Your Running program enough. I held off on choosing a one-on-one coach for a long time because I was waiting to find the right fit — a coach who can push me to perform and improve, and is also positive, ambitious, and genuine. Sara is all of the above!

From the moment we met and discussed running goals I could tell I would be part of a great team. By taking the pressure of planning my workouts out of my training it relieved some of the stress. She plans my training around my schedule to make training manageable and fun. Her happy and upbeat attitude is really motivating and I can tell how much she loves the sport. The experience and knowledge that she shares if very helpful and looking forward to reaching my goals working with her. Get yourself an amazing running coach! =)
I have considered working with a running coach since training for my first marathon in 2019. I came across some really great people with a lot of knowledge and success, yet I desired a more personal connection and no one felt like a truly good fit. I became aware of Sara when she was training for and running Boston. I offered encouragement and cheers, and she offered the same for me in my races. After several messages, I felt a strong connection to a passionate runner and an amazing human being.
After nearly 2 months with Sara as my coach, I have become a better runner. Through Sara's guidance, encouragement, and wisdom, I am approaching PRs that I hadn't touched in over 2 years. I now feel confident in attaining the ultimate goal of qualifying for Boston and perhaps running it with Sara in 2023.
